Welcome

Over the past few months our staff have been working hard to make some improvements to our network to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable. We as a network believe in freedom of speech, and as such we do not monitor channel content or user activity. We strive to maintain a stable network for our users, our main server currently has an uptime of over 100 days!

Support

It is of great importance to us to provide our users with any help and support they need, we have a team of opers that will be able to help resolve any issues you have, users can also post their queries on the forum. In our efforts to make our servers accessible to all, we have provided a Java chat applet on the site or users can request help on setting up other IRC clients such as mIRC to allow them to connect to our servers. We can also help if you would like to use our applet on your website.

Services

Our network provides many services that users can access, such services include channel registration, nick registration and hostmasking.

  • NickServ - Allows users to register their nick to prevent others from using it.

  • ChanServ - Allows users to register channels/rooms

  • BotServ - Allows services bots to be used in registered channels, these can be configured to aid channel moderation such as a badwords list

  • HostServ - Provides vanity hosts for registered nicks, this hides the users real address and can be customised

  • MemoServ - Allows users to leave offline messages for other users

  • HelpServ - Allows users to request help from an oper using the /helpop command

Please remember that IRC is not a 100% secure medium, we do not log or scrutinise the traffic that passes through the server. Also bare in mind that our IRC network is a privellege not a right and users can and will be removed from our servers if it is deemed appropriate.
